Massive strain on existing infrastructure (water supply, sewage, drainage, schools, doctors).
Traffic congestion in the town centre and south of the river Avon.
Road infrastructure cannot cope; Clopton Bridge is already way over design capacity.
Run off from the development leading to increased flooding which has already got worse and will progress due to climate change.
Threaten the independence of Tiddington and Alveston leading to a coalescence of Tiddington and Straford removing the strategic gap.
A new relief road crossing between Alveston and Tiddington would be massively intrusive, very costly and not connect to the strategic road network.
