I have attended several Hatton Parish Council meetings in 2024/25, and heard presentations about the SWLP and the proposed Hatton New Settlement, which plans to develop over 8000 homes on 640 acres of farmland. I strongly object to this plan due to inadequate infrastructure, particularly concerning traffic and local roads, the loss of valuable agricultural land, and the strain on local amenities like Hatton Station and Warwick Hospital. Additionally, the environmental impact on wildlife and the questionable motives of the landowner raise significant concerns. I urge the Council to reject this proposal.
