Whilst accepting that the UK needs many more houses, the Stratford District has already contributed to its contribution to that nationwide effort. The volume of extra housing being sought from our area is now wholly unjustifiable. I believe that residents in the Wilmcote area accept that some building will be required and indeed may be helpful to support local infrastructure and services (trusting that would in fact follow). However, the number included in this plan is obscene. The impact on our local countryside, it's wildlife and heritage cannot be right at this volume being proposed and is utterly absurd.
