The Sustainability Appraisal states that development needs until 2050 can be met by using land outside of the greenbelt. Unmet needs of Coventry and Redditch should be met bordering them.
This area could never be considered a 20 minute neighbourhood without unfundable infrastructure development.
The contribution to the purposes of Greenbelt are grossly understated by the poor review conducted by Arup.
It is a crucial open area surrounded by and preventing Urban sprawl.
It currently makes a huge contribution to biodiversity and healthy safe and inclusive environments.
Inclusion is against NPPF guidance (2024) and the planning inspector's previous comments (2017)
