I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed housing development near Wilmcote. Wilmcote is a historic and rural community with a unique character that would be irreversibly damaged by large-scale housing development. It would:

1: Overburden Local Infrastructure
2. Harm the Natural Environment
3. Increase Traffic and Safety Risks
4. Erode Wilmcote’s Village Identity
For 6,700 homes, you’d likely need:
• 6-7 primary schools
• 1-2 secondary schools
• 2 medium GP surgeries (or 1 large medical centre)
Also dentists, nurseries and pharmacies. Will these be provided?
