In regards to the Clopton Quarter parcel of SG18, the loss of green belt land would be irreversible, as would the loss of agricultural land. The visual impact of development would be detrimental to the open green space surrounding Stratford. This area is highly visible from the Welcome Hills. Development here would also increase existing traffic problems and increase emisssions especially on the Birmingham Road. Also the loss of wildlife habitat and the introduction of urban sprawl is unacceptable. There is also an issue with flooding as after heavy rain a lot of water flows through the fields.
