There is a lack of suitable infrastructure in the existing settlements of Lapworth, Kingswood and Rowington. Doctors surgery at capacity. Limited additional capacity at primary school, no secondary. Frequent electricity power cuts. No natural gas. Poor mobile phone signal. No bus service. Inadequate rail service with limited parking ‐ Station Lane experiences parking chaos at school opening and closing. Road network surrounding C1 is mostly narrow lanes, single track in places. Rail line and canals are barriers. Loss of green space amenity. Development would only be tolerable if full infrastructure requirements are concurrent with housing development, highly unlikely.
