This would involve the University's agricultural land being taken out of the greenbelt protection, all the way up to HS2. HS2 promises were made about the creation of 'green corridors' that mitigate habitat loss - developing SG01 with up to 4600 homes directly contradicts this and represents inappropriate development in the greenbelt. There is also insufficient road capacity and traffic and highways would not be able to cope with the volume of additional traffic.
