I am a resident of Hockley Heath and wish to express my opposition to the proposed village expansion. The plan to introduce over 2000 homes would fundamentally alter the village's character and contradict local planning policies. I am concerned about the environmental impact on wildlife habitats and the rural landscape, as well as the lack of transportation options, which would exacerbate traffic issues. Additionally, local schools and amenities are already at capacity, and flooding is a recurring issue. There is significant local opposition, and I hope my concerns are considered.
