I object to the SG24 proposed housing development in Hockley Heath for several reasons. It will ruin the green belt, and the local schools are already oversubscribed, as evidenced by my child's placement issues. There are flooding concerns due to poor drainage, and the development would alter the village character we value. Wildlife, such as deer, is frequently seen in the area. Traffic congestion worsens with motorway issues, and essential services like doctors and dentists are already at capacity. We cannot accommodate further developments, especially a proposal for 5000 homes.
