I wish to object to the proposed planning application for Hockley Heath. Having lived here for 47 years, I've witnessed changes that often detract from our village. Our services are limited, with no doctors' surgery, inadequate schooling, and poor public transport. If more housing is built, we will require additional services. This lovely village should not be spoiled by encroaching on green belt land, which, once lost, cannot be regained. Our existing schools and healthcare facilities are already overwhelmed, and flooding and traffic issues will only worsen. The concerns of current residents must be considered.
