Clopton Quarter - This area is greenbelt and it's essential it stays as such. To build here would lose important agricultural land that provides a green corridor to wildlife (deer, badgers, bats, birds and more) and would significantly and negatively impact on the area of beauty that is the Welcombe Hills. If the town were to expand even more into this area, this would push the boundary of the town even wider into green belt that should be protected. The traffic on the Birmingham Road is already horrendous, This would add to even more air pollution and misery to local residents.
