The goal of developing new locations is to drive economic growth by enhancing labour mobility, expanding job opportunities and tackling housing shortages. This initiative aims to speed up housing delivery while making sure homes are accessible to a wide range of people, including those in need of both affordable and high quality social housing.
To deliver strong thriving communities essential infrastructure and services, schools, healthcare and green spaces will be integrated. Sustainability is important with environmentally resilient designs and low carbon infrastructure supporting net zero and set to begin before the end of the current Parliament
