The development area proposed would cause Burton Green to lose its village character with loss of separation from Coventry.
There is already significant housing development ongoing nearby and no new health or education infrastructure. There's a lack of recreational infrastructure.
The loss of woodland and encroaching development would have significant impact on local wildlife and biodiversity.
The area should never have been included in the local plan and should be returned to the Green Belt; it includes the University of Warwick where clearly no houses will be built.
Leisure activity; public footpath use is already compromised by HS2 & development.
