We strongly object to the proposed BW settlement.

We firmly believe the HELAA methodology has been applied incorrectly, leading to a misleading ‘more suitable’ score. This needs to be investigated thoroughly.

It would be catastrophic to the local environment and wildlife, including to the adjacent SSSI site. The current infrastructure in place (roads, single track railway) are inadequate to handle this scale of additional traffic, as well as a lack of services. We moved away from Warwick recently, where we saw the negative impacts of excessive development on an established town and are determined this does not happen to Bearley/Wilmcote.
