The plans for a new residential estate in this area will cause flash flooding down In stratford via the canal and other waterways. We already have problems with the fields flooding in the area and by building over farm land and creating new road and houses with adding a lot of non permeable materials flash flooding is going to be a concern. Not only through surface water but by back logging drains causing further environmental damage when waste water floods, the drainage systems in place with in the village would need a massive upgrade
