There is insufficient infrastructure to support housing between Old Milverton and the Kenilworth Road. New residents would be situated a long way from schools, shopping facilities and other amenities. Therefore they would have to use cars to travel. This would put Old Milverton Road under strain and cause a bottleneck at its junction with Rugby Road. The alternative routes through town to amenities South of the River Leamington would not be able to cope with increased traffic.
