1. Bearley village is in the Green Belt the benefits of which are:
• improved health and wellbeing for the inhabitants
• farming land with locally grown food essential for combating climate change. This land can more easily absorb and
intercept heavy rainfall and help protect against flooding than housing estates can.
• wildlife more abundant than in towns - we have seen 62 species of birds in our garden over 10 years
2. The roads around Bearley, especially the one through Snitterfield, will not take large volumes of traffic.
3. Total lack of cycle paths and insufficient pavements.
