Having lived in Hockley Heath for thirty years, I am deeply concerned about the proposed mass housing development under the South Warwickshire Local Plan. Our village is already overdeveloped, with inadequate roads leading to severe congestion. Additionally, we face ongoing flooding issues that would only worsen with more housing. The destruction of wildlife habitats, particularly for protected species, is troubling. Hockley Heath also lacks the necessary infrastructure, such as schools and medical facilities, to support this development. I urge a reconsideration towards sustainable development that protects our countryside and environment.
