To meet the plan locations that are not in the Greenbelt area can meet the current requirement. Land for urban regeneration should be given priority. The endless stream of local residents using the footpath entrance on Bamburgh Grove is the most significant reason. There are over 3.2Km of footpaths in SG06 used everyday by local residents whose quality of life and wellbeing would be significantly impacted. Not developing this land maintains the separation between Leamington and Kenilworth preventing urban sprawl and the seeping of the two areas into one large suburban area with a resulting loss of identity.
