SG05 is shown as directly adjacent to the Newbold Comyn country park which provides much appreciated accessible green space and amenities for local people. SG05 development would detract from the benefits of Newbold Comyn as follows:
- impact the environmental and ecological aspects of the Comyn
- make the Comyn more of a town rather than country park
- block views and access to the countryside from the Comyn
- put more pressure on roads in the surrounding areas which are already blocked at weekends/during regular events on the Comyn
I look forward to some amendment to the SG05 plan.
