The number of houses propose seems vastly exaggerated and will have a profound and irreversible impact on the natural environment of South Warwickshire. The Local Plan must not disregard the Environment Act 2021 target of 30% of land allocated to nature and in recovery by 2030. The fact that the Plan allocates many housing sites in the Green Belt is unacceptable. These areas are important land designations intended to protect the edges of wildlife sites and provide a transitional and safe area for important protected and declining species.
