The proposed development at Danzey Green is unsuitable due to highway constraints, environmental impact, and infrastructure strain.
Danzey Green, and the area surrounding it, is of prime rural importance, with rare wildflower meadows, left fallow for long periods. Orchids are finally returning to the area.
Being so close to conurbation areas it is important to retain such buffers.
At present, the local rural roads are used by cyclists, ramblers, horse riders, as well as the many tractors etc. This would not be possible if traffic inevitably increased.
The site is Green Belt too, contravening NPPF Paragraphs 142-144.
