There are many reasons why building on this area would not be beneficial to the local environment.
Firstly it is green belt land where other land is still available locally.
This area is a huge part of the local and wider community well being, providing large open spaces to walk, talk and enjoy all of the nature available. An especially important part of our everyday, high pressured lifestyles.
Having an extra houses in this area would add pressure to the road systems, schools and facilities in the area too.
