It is essential that what is left of the green belt between Kenilworth and Coventry is preserved. The role of the green belt in preventing urban sprawl and allowing built up areas to maintain their settings and special character is particularly relevant here. This area of green belt needs to be preserved for agriculture and leisure use and to maintain valuable areas of ecology and diversity.
