I think that it is very important to improve public transport. The improvement in rail transport is welcome, but the key has to be the frequency, reliability and reach of bus services. These have been cut back even in developed urban areas, e.g,., the No.1 route in Warwick and Leamington. I am also concerned about the impact of development on local roads, not just the motorways. Temporary traffic lights or an accident can cause gridlock in Warwick and Leamington. New fringe developments need access to routes that do not run through core urban areas and use existing A roads.
