Promote car use. Roundabout near School on Leicester/Lime/Sandy Lane, dangerous and traffic bottleneck. Traffic cannot flow through town due to layout/bridges. Risk to School Children. More speeding traffic through residential Lillington.

Meet without greenbelt. Sustainability Appraisal- Strategic Growth +New Settlements (48,500+6000) dwellings NOT in green belt. Exceptional circumstances NOT met to release greenbelt.
Fulfils Green Belt PurposeA. Sprawl, merging towns/neighbourhoods, preserve town character, safeguarding countryside.
Scarce high quality ALC Grade 2 farmland - local food supply security.
