The large scale plan in this location contradicts the majority of strategic objectives e.g. 8&9: Would destroy 'countryside assets' causing inevitable & irreversible damage to (G1 listed) Palmer's Farm & Mary Arden's House-a globally renowned tourist destination, & surrounding villages.
Limited job opportunities. Majority of residents would need to commute; small, unsuitable country roads becoming overwhelmed & Wilmcote village dangerous rat run shortcut to A46.
Major upgrading of A roads essential at cost of over 250M.
Towpath impossible to upgrade to suitable& safe cycle&running route to town.
Listed Station; limited services, no accessibility or parking & no scope for improvement.
