The SG06 should be excluded from the plan for the following reasons:

The land is high agricultural land which is cultivated. Farmers are being urged to produce more food so that we are not reliant on imports.

The land provides an important habitat for wildlife and plant life and this should be protected at a time when, due to development, the countryside is ever diminishing.

The public footpaths are extensively used by thousands of both local residents and visitors alike for exercise and recreation and, therefore, this land should be protected.

One vital purpose of the Green Belt is to stop urban sprawl.
