To whom it may concern.
I hear that land owners around Shipston Town have offered their land for development; I would like to point out the unsuitability of land off the B4035, Fell Mill Lane and behind River Way. Part of it is floodplain, it frequently floods from the river Stour and because of climate change/global warming it is rapidly getting much worse. I have lost count how many times the river has broken its banks in the last year.
The infrastructure is already overwhelmed by the amount of building that has gone on over recent years and in my opinion it can’t take any more major developments.
Please consider carefully where all these proposed properties will be built.
