The SWLP appears to be a desk based exercise by SDC and WDC as it does not take account of the realities experienced by local residents such as lack of transport infrastructure both road and rail. All of the identified site is in the green belt and flood plain. Any development on the scale exceeding 6500 new houses will significantly impact on the landscape and wildlife habitats and the natural beauty on Wilmcote. In conclusion the proposed development as size of a newtown will be an undesirable urban sprawl into the Market town of Stratford on Avon.
