The land is currently an open field situated between the rear of our house and Terry's Pool. Any building in the field would detract from the view from our house and probably reduce the value.
Infrastructure: at present access to Malthouse Lane is partly on the causeway between The Lakes. The extra traffic would increase problems already experienced across the causeway.
The access to the proposed site is limited.
Local wildlife including deer use the field.
The ground is marshy and not suitable for building.
Flooding. Water tends to flow from Malthouse Lane down towards The Lakes. In heavy rain this is more relevant and there is often streams of water running to this site.
We will no longer have a private back garden will be overlooked by any new buildings.
