It is entirely inconsistent with the overall approach to development set out in the Preferred Options consultation to keep under consideration sites put forward by developers which are neither in the strategic growth locations nor any potential new settlements and are over one hectare in size These sites should be excluded from consideration. Any other approach risks unplanned, random growth which is not supported by adequate infrastructure.
There is nothing in the Preferred Option proposals that requires or justifies the continued consideration for development of nearly 100 hectares of land at Radford Semele.
