As a resident of 40 years, I am extremely concerned about many aspects of the Plan. In particular:
1. The huge impact on the character and well being of our small community by such a dramatic growth in housing, with zero confidence of funding for more infrastructure - schools, medical, public transport.
2. Environmental impact (noise, air quality) of thousands of additional cars and people.
3. Heavy traffic congestion on top of an already near capacity road network.
4. Flooding on Stratford Road is already a major problem due to inadequate drainage. The additional housing will make matters much worse.
