As a resident of Hampton-on-the-Hill, I am concerned about the proposed site B1 at Hatton in the South Warwickshire Local Plan. Our village currently suffers from heavy traffic as drivers use it to avoid congestion on the A46, resulting in difficulties exiting our properties. Previous plans for a permanent ‘Haul Route’ to alleviate this were unsuccessful. The added traffic from new developments in the area has further worsened the situation. To protect our quality of life, I request that any housing development at Hatton includes a developer-funded by-pass to redirect traffic away from our village.
