I believe that using the greenbelt for housing is inappropriate due to the negative impact on habitats, woodlands, and drainage. The proposed housing volume is overwhelming for the limited infrastructure in Hatton and Budbroke, especially as local services like schools and GP surgeries are already stretched. The A4177 is heavily congested, and the traffic issues from the Union View project are still unfolding. Future housing proposals should consider these factors, as the current plans seem ill-conceived and disregard our environmental concerns.
