A large number of houses are already being built in this area and if it was designated a new settlement the necessary infrastructure could be provided. A river crossing could be built across the shortest section of the flood plain which would link up with the A46 with access to good roads and employment opportunities in Leamington, Coventry, Redditch. The A46 directly links to the Midlands motorways ie the M5, M40, M6, M69
