There would be a change of character of the village becoming a large town, with a lack of infrastructure to support this. Quality of life of current residents would be impacted by an increase in noise, light and traffic/air pollution both during construction of the development and the development itself. Reduction in numbers to local wildlife including protected species with a loss of habitat. Increase in flooding due to amount of proposed concrete, causing drainage issues. Increased pressure on local facilities and currently no GP surgery.
