This would change the feel of Lapworth village to a large town, putting enormous pressure on the roads in the area. The local school would not be able to cope with such a large influx to the area and the current railway station already has extremely limited parking unable to accommodate a large increase in users. The country village would become a sprawling mess, covering large amounts of current farmland and detracting from the reasons people visit the area by concreting over local footpaths.
