Another river crossing between Alveston and Tiddington would destroy both villages, be incredibly expensive to build and vehicles crossing the river would face the bottle necked village centre and a congested Tiddington Road backing up from Clopton Bridge. This area frequently floods so the increased risk of surface water increases the risk flooding devastation.
