I strongly object as the proposal represents unacceptable development in the Green Belt. The Green Belt has been designated to protect our countryside and this would destroy woods and hedgerows. It will alter the distinctive character of the area. Bearley and Wilmcote are tiny villages without the necessary infrastructure and facilities to support the proposed development. The impact on surrounding roads and villages would be highly detrimental with increased traffic cutting through to the A46 and potential road safety issues. Drainage services would be overwhelmed increasing flood risk. I favour development of our existing town conurbations as an alternative.
