I am against the proposal for effectively building a new town on prime farmland around Hatton. This area provides an important haven and critical environmental corridor for wildlife between the M42, M40, A46. It is quality farming land which once lost cannot be replaced in our agricultural supply chain. Large amounts of ancient hedgerows/trees and wildlife habitats will be lost. Local roads (Old Warwick Road) is a windy, rural B-road. Existing hamlets and villages have strong communities who will be lost. Traffic to A46/M40 access is already over-committed with queues. Pressure on Warwick Hospital and local GPs would be untenable.
