The Conservation town of Shipston has a small town centre with very limited parking with no space for expansion. There is no train station, and infrequent bus services to major local towns therefore non ecological car use would be essential for commuting to work as there are restricted further employment opportunities in Shipston
Developing these sites will increase surface water runoff risking flooding in Shipston & surrounding villages.
Barcheston and Honington have remained undeveloped villages since the Middle Ages and are historically mentioned in the Doomsday Book, these developments will irreversibly damage their intrinsic character because of over development.
