Wilmcote will be unable to cope with the increase in traffic. Church Road in Wilmcote is of insufficient width for two commercial vehicles to pass (National Highways criteria) as they, despite being on a bus route, currently mount the kerb and or and drive over gardens and the verge when passing. There is no footpath, and the carriageway cannot be widened, therefore creating danger to life and damage to property in the village in close proximity to the primary school.
No parking space at Wilmcote station - Land to east of station prone to flooding.
