The number of houses proposed are too many and will put undue pressure on local schools and amenities such as doctors/dentist. Building on a flood plain is nonsensical because this will further impact other existing homes as the water will need to go somewhere. The plan also proposes closure of the tip site which will no doubt increase fly tipping, ruining our lovely local landscape. The roads around Shipston are already in dire need of repair and additional vehicles will cause more damage. In addition there is no train station or reliable bus service in the area.
