I strongly object to the Hatton development due to its significant environmental, infrastructural, and social impact. The loss of agricultural land threatens food security and increases reliance on imports, contributing to carbon emissions. Encroaching on the Green Belt endangers Warwick’s historic identity and weakens community cohesion, risking long-term social challenges. Infrastructure, healthcare, and transport systems are already overburdened, with no clear provisions for sustainable expansion. Increased pollution, loss of green spaces, and insufficient recreational facilities further strain the community. I urge the planning committee to reject this proposal to protect Hatton’s long-term sustainability and quality of life
