It is not necessary to use green belt land to build more houses. Legal precedent makes it clear that green belt land to the north of Leamington Spa makes a strong contribution to Green Belt Purpose A. There needs to be more informed analysis of the contribution of green belt land at SG06. There are a wide variety of habitat and species that make up the food chain in this area and contribute significantly to the biodiversity of the area. Many young children walk to local schools along the Old Milverton road and additional car use will be dangerous.
