New settlements are preferred and this site will offer good job opportunities nearby which will support local communities as well as having good existing road connections. The development will improve transport links including the rail innovation centre connecting to the Honeybourne line.
New settlements can be driven by strategic opportunities not land availability to limit impact on the local ecology.
The site would take the congestion pressure off Stratford and meet all housing needs with least impact on the environment, preserving greenbelt land. Number of houses and space available means infrastructure like schools and docters can be built.
