I do not agree with putting a town of the proposed size next to the villages of Wilmcote and Bearley. As a graduate trainee in Civil Engineering at AECOM, I do not think the new development would be sustainable due to the limitations of infrastructure sufficient to cope with the projected population, whether in respect to transport and road systems, or flooding risks and the problem of run-off. Roads in Wilmcote are already used as a cut-through and a settlement of this size would create unsustainable volumes of extra traffic and pollution, having a very negative impact on the village.
