Doctors/essential services overstretched. Primary & high schools at capacity, no sixth form. Poor local job opportunities. No train station & few bus links means car use essential. Part of Fell Mill sites (refs 148 & 747) within an area of restraint preventing development, and site is split by a flood plain, development will increase risk of flooding to Shipston. This site is also accessed by single lane bridges at Shipston/Honnington both of which flood cutting area off from town centre & would bring traffic chaos.
Sewage systems overstretched. Small town centre with lack of facilities/parking. Increased traffic on country roads.
